About the Speaker: Devaraj Das is the Engineering Manager of the Hadoop team in Yahoo! Bangalore. Devaraj has been working on Hadoop for nearly 1.5 years and is also an Apache Software Foundation Committer. Prior to Yahoo, Devaraj was with HP for 8.5 years, where he worked on JVM, Web Application Server, Security and Grid Computing technologies. Devaraj has a Master's degree from IISc and a Bachelor's degree from BITS, Pilani.
